How is this article different than Individual bonds vs a bond fund? Should this just redirect to that article? --Peculiar Investor 23:11, 9 February 2014 (CST)

This page and the Redo page are the result of disagreements among editors over Individual bonds vs a bond fund. The creator of these two pages offers them as a solution to the controversy.--Blbarnitz 02:43, 10 February 2014 (CST)
How is the reader to know there is a differing viewpoint? I found this article only via a forum search that linked here and thought that I had landed on the same page via a redirect, then I noticed the content was slightly different. Importantly, I didn't spend any time reading this article as I was confused by the apparent duplication, see my original comment above. It there is a "controversy", then shouldn't the articles reference each other to let the reader make an informed decision based on their situation? --Peculiar Investor 06:27, 10 February 2014 (CST)

Reader feedback: The topic of interest rate r... posted this comment on 19 February 2016 (view all feedback).

The topic of interest rate risk is not adequately addressed under control over risks. The only reference is the article (link) by Allan Roth which is an overly simplistic and one dimensional perspective on bonds vs bond funds for controlling interest rate risk. The conclusions are far more complex for constant duration funds. A more thorough treatment we be timely and warranted.

Any thoughts?
