I think we need to add a disclaimer to indicate we're intentionally not providing a balanced viewpoint.

To assist in the education of U.S. military personnel on financial topics, this article departs from the wiki's policy of neutrality. Please see forum discussion: Military Investing

I have attempted to provide a degree of objectivity to the page by wordsmithing the original post in a more neutral manner and by providing links that provide some substantiation to the strong normative judgments --Blbarnitz 01:19, 12 October 2011 (EDT)

Roth TSP needs to be updated

I think the page needs a slight refresh, but I'm not an expert so I don't want to take this on myself. The article talks about the Roth TSP option being a possibility in the near future. I am pretty sure that the Roth TSP option for military service members became a reality 1 or 2 years ago, so that should be reflected in the wiki page.

I also posted about this in the Wiki Editors Lounge forum: http://www.bogleheads.org/forum/viewtopic.php?f=5&t=123990.

Suggest editing the auto insurance line. With a flawless driving record, age 30 single male, my auto insurance is nearly half at Geico than USAA. Allstate is also sustantially cheaper, so i would suggest shopping around.

Agree, I revised the content to reflect your comments. LadyGeek 12:52, 29 December 2014 (CST)
