Global fund
A global fund is a type of mutual fund, closed-end fund or exchange-traded fund that can invest in companies located anywhere in the world. Global funds are distinguishable from international funds in that a global fund includes the entire world, whereas an international fund includes the entire world except for securities in the investor's home country.[1]
Global funds can include:
- Global stock funds
- Global bond funds
- Sector funds
