CA form 3804-CR
CA form 3804-CR
Anyone had this form - California Form 3804-CR show up in their return when using Turbo Tax for a CA state return? Not sure why it showed up in mine since it's completely empty but I filed it anyway.

I don't use Turbo Tax, but it seems like you're not the only one with the issue. Reddit thread: https://old.reddit.com/r/tax/comments/1 ... will_i_be/

Thanks. I was wondering if I accidentally did something to trigger insertion of that form but looks like it’s just TurboTax being TurboTax, America’s #1 trusted software for tax prep.Mudpuppy wrote: ↑Tue Feb 07, 2023 12:37 am I don't use Turbo Tax, but it seems like you're not the only one with the issue. It could help you getting additional tax relief if you are capped by the SALT limit.

Turbo Tax online "elected" that for me I guess, it didn't do anything that prompted a question about it that I'm aware of it, it just happened apparently when it imported my Federal info and I guess determined that was the appropriate thing to do. It's empty on my tax filing except for my name and personal info.anoop wrote: ↑Tue Feb 07, 2023 8:12 amNot that I’m aware of.
