[AllianceBernstein] Bond fund distribution question

Hi all,

I have been looking at the below AllianceBernstein bond fund and was wondering if anyone could advise why the monthly interest distributions have not gone up over the past 12 months ? Is it simply a factor that simply not sufficient underlying bonds have matured/ been replaced with higher yielding ones during the past 12 months ( c. 2% have a maturity of < 1 year)?
