Great options out there, just got a PenFed letter myself. But still, if VMFXX is paying 4.3 % right now I can't see myself using any savings accounts at all. I just have 1 dollar in Ally and pulled the rest to vanguard settlement/short term bond fund.

However, if you walk into one of Third Federal's offices and open a savings account with less than $25000, the rate is 0.15%.
It's nice how they treat everyone the same. :annoyed

I use RedNeck Bank MM to keep enough cash to pay several months of CC bills that are pulled from it. Refreshed it the other day from VG. It has been paying 4.25% for a couple months so no harm.
