Looking to see if anyone has experience when two health insurance plans do not coordinate with each other. Essentially, I'm running into a situation where one policy does not have a coordination of benefit provision and the second policy will not coordinate benefits with another plan that has no coordination of benefits of provision.
Do I have to manually submit bills to the second policy after they are processed by the first?
I'm aware that usually plans without a provision fall primary, but in this situation, the second policy is self-funded and its provision clearly states it will coordinate with another plan only if the other plan has a provision.
