Vanguard's new short-term tax-exempt fund VTES vs VWSUX

Post by GaryA505 »

Does any one have any thoughts on Vanguard's new VTES short-term tax-exempt fund?

I have some short-term reserves in VWSUX (Vanguard Ultra Short-Term Tax-Exempt) and was wondering how they compare.
Looks like VWSUX has a duration of 1.1 years and VTES could be a little longer since it's benchmark is 0-7 year index.
Get most of it right and don't make any big mistakes. All else being equal, simpler is better. Simple is as simple does.

It's good competition for SUB.

It was discussed in an earlier thread: viewtopic.php?t=399580
