I received a bonus in 2021 into a nondeferred compensation plan that vests equally every year over 3 years. The total amount is $50k which I plan on using for a down payment on our first home. 33% is already vested with another 33% being invested in December. The final full payout will be December 2024. The plan itself doesn't allow for loans to be taken out, but does allow for investing.
To this point I have only invested in the amount that I am fully vested, just in case.
Does anyone know of any programs or loans that would allow me to borrow against the vested balance to help fund a down payment or am I just stuck waiting for another 2 years?
