iShares Updates Large Cap Multifactor Funds

iShares has updated their US and International Large Cap Multifactor funds to track new indices by STOXX and thus moving from the original MSCI indices. This took effect on 1 June 2022.

I personally don't like the change. After looking at information about the new indices they don't appear to have much of a factor tilt. Quality is the strongest factor weighted in their metrics and it's barely detectable.

Whether they are intending to make similar changes to their their other MSCI Multifactor funds or not, I'm not planning on using them for this reason. I don't want to possibly purchase something in taxable and they change the index to something much different from what I originally invested in.

It looks like I'll be using DFA funds to TLH with Avantis.
