Adding offset assets/transactions to fix Mint history?

Post by slalom »

I use Mint for my many, many different accounts, and have since it began.

One thing that keeps bugging me is when looking at trends/history, there's big chunks of time that have incorrect/incomplete data due to not having had all accounts working, or possibly accidentally deleting some accounts, I can't recall. For example there's 3 years where my net worth went negative and assets amount was all messed up since I wasn't counting my home. There's a few other examples like this.

Anyway, is there a smart way to make adjustments to fix this history, given that I have all the appropriate records with the needed numbers?
