Agreed! I used that exact song to help choose my last pair of headphones. Out of curiosity...where did the piano go??TomatoTomahto wrote: ↑Sun Dec 06, 2020 2:27 pm I have kind of dropped off this thread, but ...
Today we moved a piano out of our living room/music room and consequently I had to redo the ARC (Anthem Room Correction).
Afterwards, I listened to a range of music, but I was struck by Paul Simon’s “Diamonds on the Soles of Her Shoes.” It’s an almost perfect 5:49 of music.

For now, it’s in the dining room. It was in front of a large window, and since nobody plays any more and guests won’t be here for the foreseeable future, we wanted the view back.

I'm listening to a podcast by a charlatan about an "Anti-Krampus" doll that he created and has for sale. He says the doll can "bind" your negative thoughts and bad luck for the holiday season and into 2021. The doll is only $69.95!

Re: What are you listening to now
Was that the album cover featuring a lady in a dress of whipped cream? Gotta be!
I had it at one time, but, alas, over time all my vinyl was rendered pretty useless by scratches. I had a good turntable, a Garrard Zero 100 with an expensive Shure needle. I also had rambunctious daughters.
Oh well, I much prefer all my ripped CDs, my old ears probably can no longer hear much difference in the quality of music so long as it is played/streamed on a decent source.
We celebrated Christmas last Saturday with a DD and family heading to see husband's family for Christmas. She gave me a gift card to pay for an Amazon HD unlimited subscription, so I'm eager to see how that goes.
Right now I am listening to one of DW's favorites, back in the day, John Denver. Very mellow fellow.

Today it has been Ten Years After, all recorded live. Some from shows at Fillmore East, other recordings while on tour in Europe.
Also JJ Cale. JJ Cale was very underrated, yet so many musicians were influenced by him, including Eric Clapton.
A nice release by Clapton and other musicians after Cale passed is The Breeze: An Appreciation of JJ Cale
Cale and Clapton earlier released The Road to Escondido.
