Hello,

In addition to our regular monthly meeting, we've been invited to join an additional meeting on Wednesday, 6 January at 9pm. A member of the Boston Bogleheads group put this together and is going to present to the Chicago group, our group, and possibly some members from San Francisco, a guy from Montana, and a few from Florida.

Topic: Estimated Taxes and Safe Harbors Zoom Meeting

Time: Jan 6, 2021 09:00 PM Eastern Time (US and Canada)

The Zoom meeting ID and password will be on our Columbus Bogleheads Group (link below). The Zoom info. is also on the Columbus Investing & Personal Finance Meetup group on Meetup.com. Reminder, all you need is the meeting ID and password (no link required) and then you can just go to Zoom.us and click the "Join a Meeting" link at the top of the page and input the ID & password when prompted.

All, Just a late reminder about Sunday's (11 July) meeting schedule - GREAT news, we're in person again finally at the Columbus Main Library, 96 S. Grant Ave., Columbus, OH 43215 - in ROOM 3A from 3-5 PM.

I will attempt to have Zoom available for the out-of-towners that have been attending our meetings since Covid-19 struck, but there were occasionally technology hiccups in the library before, so no guarantees.

If you have any agenda items, please post them here.

Thanks and see you Sunday.

All, Just a reminder about Sunday's (14 November) meeting - in person this month at the PICKERINGTON MAIN LIBRARY - 201 OPPORTUNITY WAY, PICKERINGTON, OH 43147 - in the DIGITAL CLASSROOM ROOM from 3-5 PM. Masks are required at the library. NEW LOCATION FOR NOVEMBER AND DECEMBER because the Columbus Libraries are all closed on Sundays until January due to staffing shortages.

If you have any agenda items, please post them here.

A reminder about this weekend’s meeting on Sunday, 11 September - at our NORMAL location – the Columbus Main Library on 96 S. Grant Ave. – in Room 3A from 3-5 PM. Masks NOT required.

We’ll have our “pre-meeting” chat on the library’s first floor from 2-3 pm in the back by the Carnegie Café (not open, so bring your snack/drink as desired).

Lastly, we’ll also have dinner right after the meeting at 5:05ish at Matt and Tony’s Kitchen+Tavern (formerly Pat & Gracies restaurant) at 340 E. Gay Street, Columbus – a couple of blocks from the library (with parking on the street).

I’ll work to have Zoom available for any out-of-towners.

The Zoom meeting ID and password will be on our Columbus Bogleheads Google Group (link below).

Also, please enable your video during the meeting.

As a reminder, you can join the Bogleheads Google Group via the following link:
https://groups.google.com/u/1/g/columbusbogleheads

If you have any desired discussion items that you want to mention ahead of time, please post them here.

For those new to our meetings, following is the normal flow:

1) Group intro
2) Personal intros
3) Initial questions (if any) by new members
4) Additional questions/discussions (depending on the length of #3, which sometimes can take the entire 2 hours)

Entire meeting is an informal discussion. Occasionally, there’s a brief about a particular subject at the beginning by a member - followed by discussion on that topic, then the norm.

We also typically have 10-15 people attend each meeting.

Thanks and see you Sunday.
