Bumping for visibility.

The Fox & Hound is close to Champps. From Champps, hang a left at the traffic light. Goddard Blvd will dead-end onto Mall Boulevard. Turn right, then an immediate left.

The Fox & Hound is immediately to your right in one of the outlier (separate) buildings - it's not in the mall. In fact, it's almost next to Mall Boulevard. Look between Primark (large building) and Maggiano's restaurant.

Welcome Juppy!

The tentative date for the next meeting is 11/17, IIRC. I believe the location is also up-in-the-air, as the one for the prior meeting was a last minute substitute after it was discovered that the usual place is now closed. But I'd bet it'll be somewhere in the King Of Prussia area.

But make sure you're subscribed to notifications for this thread, and keep an eye out for updates.

New Bogleheads Philly Chapter Coordinator wanted!

Dear Philly Chapter Bogleheads,
as our family will move to Florida in a few weeks, I will give up my position of the Bogleheads Philly Chapter coordinator.

For those of you who are interested in this role, please send me an email and copy Gail Cox. I will then reach out to you very soon to coordinate a smooth transition. I am looking forward to getting your email.

During the last years we held quarterly meetings, usually in person at a restaurant in King of Prussia, and since May 2020 virtually due to the Covid pandemic. In the future, these events can be tailored to the taste of the new Chapter Coordinator and the wishes of the team members.

I enjoyed coordinating the Philly Chapter over the last 6 years, learned a lot about personal finance and met interesting people, some of them having become friends.

We wish you all the best for the future, your health and your finance decisions. Maybe we will see you again at one of the virtual meetings or in person at future conferences.

Best regards
Barbara

Barbara
I bumping this thread to say that the person who was maintaining the phillyboglehead@gmail.com email list in place of marnie has just sent her last email.

No one has stepped up to be the Philly chapter coordinator and the chapter is now officially in an inactive status. If someone would like to be the Philly chapter coordinator please contact Gail Cox gcox@bogle.center. You can also PM me and I'll pass the info along.

You can receive notifications for the virtual chapter events by subscribing to the Chapter Series list here: Calendar of Events
