What is the deal with "DW"?

It is definitely a boomer shorthand, but I like it and I think it makes bogleheads unique.

As poster above said, may begin referring to my fellow bogleheads as "DB" 8-)

Hey, you heard it here first. A DB makes contributions to culture in the midst of sound financial discussions.

I agree it is a little odd how prevalent this usage is on a forum that doesn't use much slang.
