How do I adjust the time frame for searches?
Sometimes I get 'No posts exist inside this topic for the selected time frame.' when clicking on a thread link.
Thanks!

Time Frame for Searches

Re: Time Frame for Searches
Are you using the built-in search, meaning the "gear" icon to the right of the Google search box? Or, are you using something else?
Please provide an example of the search that gives you the error.

Re: Time Frame for Searches
Time frames are news to me when doing a Bogleheads search. For example, how would I find all the posts in 2013 and 2014 where I am the OP?
Without using any time frame restrictions, I find 4 by looking at ALL the posts where I was the OP.

Re: Time Frame for Searches
For the built-in forum search engine, you can scroll through the search results for the dates. How celia got to 4 posts -
The "gear" icon brings you to Search.
Search for author: celia
Search within: Topic titles only
Search found 40 matches and then look for the time frame (4 topics found).
The google search engine doesn't provide a way to search in this manner.
