Small Cap Value UCITs ETFs

Post by oken »

Hi folks,

Was wondering if anyone tilts towards small value and what UCITs ETFs you use?

I understand that the size premium isn't very significant unless it is paired with value, so looking for small value in particular.

Am also hoping that such a tilt would help to hedge a little against any market drops.

Any thoughts on this? Anyone else do something like this?

Thanks for highlighting!
Either there is no small cap value ETF, or I'm really not familiar with the filter settings.

Seems like no one tilts to small cap value?

State Street has following value weighted ETFs:
SPDR® MSCI USA Small Cap Value Weighted UCITS ETF https://www.ssga.com/de/en_gb/instituti ... tf-zprv-gy
SPDR® MSCI Europe Small Cap Value Weighted UCITS ETF https://www.ssga.com/de/en_gb/instituti ... tf-zprx-gy

I myself stay with Vanguard FTSE All-World UCITS ETF.

Just FYI: do remember that SCV and factor investing (i.e., I include tilts to value ETFs) is a long-term strategy i.e. you may have to stick to it for more than 10 years.

I looked into factor investing myself, found only the SPDR ETFs, and abandoned the idea for the reason above, and now stick to Ftse all-world.

Best of luck
