VWRA+WSML: The complete global growth portfolio?

Post by MoRS76 »

Do you really need any other funds for a globally diversified growth portfolio? 80% VWRA / 20% WSML

VWRA holdings:
Global Large + Mid Cap Equity
58% US / 17% Europe / 12% Pacific / EM 11%

WSML holdings:
Global Developed Small Cap Equity
59% US / 41% Int'l

As I’ve posted recently elsewhere, there’s a bit of overlap at the bottom end between FTSE All World (0-90/95% investable universe) and MSCI World Small Cap (85-99%).

Thank you. What do the figures you shared represent exactly? Not familiar with these ranges.

As mentioned, trying to mix a FTSE index with an MSCI index will have unintended consequences. For this fuller world, stick with the MSCI index so you can combine
IWDA/EIMI/WSML

under the current day correct proportions.
