Which European broker (Cyprus)

Post by Antonis »

I intend on investing in 2 ETFs (VWCE and EUNA) for 30+ years.

I need a broker that offers these, and has low fees, and no inactivity fees.

1. Trading212 is not accepting new clients.
2. Interactive Brokers has a pretty high inactivity fee.
3. Degiro is not available in Cyprus.

Any ideas? I'm stumped.

what about Swissquote? or TradeStation Global? or Flatex?

I’m not sure about their availability to Cyprus but you could give them a look.

Thanks! So:

Tradestation is unavailable in Cyprus.
Flatex's interface is in German, from what I understand.
Swissquote has pretty high transaction fees.

Oh what a shame that T212 is no accepting new accounts. I was lucky to open one before the gamestop saga :D

Yes, Swissquote are high in fees. Sure that Tradestation Global (the international one, not the US focused) is unavailable to Cyprus?

There is another one: Cornertrade, swiss based too. Take a look.

And another that I’ve seen but have no idea how good or reliable they’re is Europe Investor from Mauritius

Pretty sure that Tradestation isn't available to Cyprus, but I'll check again!

Haha yep, before the gamestop thing, I had a demo trading212 account, and didn't think there was a reason to switch to the real thing until I was ready to invest. 😭

Thanks, I'll check out Cornertrade

I suggest you check IBKR. They accept clients from Cyprus and they are a very reputable and trustworthy brokerage.
