My First-Ever DAF Grant to: The John C. Bogle Center for Financial Literacy

Post by JohnDoh »

I have learned almost all I think I know about financial literacy through long-time lurking and participation (at the margins, to be sure) of the Bogleheads community for many years. And I have no doubt that my financial life has gone much, much better because of what I have gained from this community and from the man who inspired/inspires it. Any mistakes I have made have been my own.

This year as I begin transitioning to (semi-)retirement I opened my first ever DAF (at Fidelity Charitable) and funded it as part of a final (?) course adjustment as I head into the next phase. And in recognition of all that I owe to Jack and to all of you, I made my very first DAF grant (anonymously of course 8-)) to The John C. Bogle Center for Financial Literacy.

A big, big "thank you" to all.

I literally couldn't have done it without you.
