I received a letter from the IRS informing that I need to submit Form 8283 with my 2019 tax return.
In filling out the form, I realized that I had two entries of $55.92 in my spreadsheet which is an error.
How do I correct this since Line 12 of Schedule A is wrong.
Do I submit a Form 8283 that is correct and then attach a letter explaining the error?
