Anyone using ConnectedSolutions Demand Response with their batteries?

Post by TomatoTomahto »

We are already getting SREC incentives for our solar and SMART credits for our solar and batteries. The ConnectedSolutions incentives in Massachusetts are an opt-in program that provides an incentive of $225 per average Kw supplied during a summer event (limit of 60 annually) and $50 for average Kw supplied during a winter event (limit of 5 annually).

We already run a small positive cash flow on our energy usage in our all electric house. I will check this year’s numbers, but counter-intuitively we run a deficit during the summer (pool pumps and heaters) and develop credits during the winter (less sun but we keep the house frosty).

Anyone belong to this program? How’s it working for you?
I get the FI part but not the RE part of FIRE.
