This comparison agrees. https://youtu.be/dhglT-a4Gc8?t=538

Looks like Magsafe was only delivering half the 20W charging rate. I would have liked to test Magsafe with 30W and see if it's any faster. I came across several mentions of 50-75% efficiency, so it's possible 30W might make a difference with Magsafe charging (rated up to 15W).

Many 18-20W adapters are small square cubes while the 30W ones are taller.

That video is for iPhone 12. I have an iPhone 13 mini.
So should I buy the 20W or 30W?

been with Mint for the last 2 years.. no complaints and it's dirt cheap. I was with Verizon before this which essentially classifies as highway robbery!

How much do you pay with Mint and what do you get?

I pay $180+tax yearly for 4GB LTE per month, works for me.. they bump you down to 3G after you hit that limit.

Additional LTE data is $10/GB

there is a catch.. they use T-Mobile's towers as an MVNO so technically you have lower priority.. however I have never noticed a problem anywhere I have used it.

I have been with Mint for more than two years and have been happy.
Got my DW Red Pocket with AT&T (she had Mint before) since she preferred AT&T network over T-Mobile, but she has been very unhappy with Red Pocket. She claims that her data vanishes very quickly and does not trust their service at all.

I've had Mint Mobile for the past 15 months. I pay annually, which is the cheapest. $201.07 was what I paid to renew in October 2021 - that is one year unlimited talk and text including Canada and Mexico, plus 8GB per month. One drawback I found out the hard way is Mint does not allow roaming outside the US (found that out on a trip to Canada).

Good deal. I thought Mint doesn’t have 8GB data plan?

I've had RedPocket with ATT and it's been fine. Be sure to check that she's using your wifi when at home (browsing Instagram or Facebook can use a lot of data; perhaps her phone was set to use wifi when she had the old plan), and that photos, etc. aren't being backed up with cellular data (unless that's what you want)

I don’t talk on the phone a lot. It’s average in my home. Just depends on location.
