I usually just install all updates for my Chromebook. Accidentally today I read what the update will do.
Here's the update number:
"Nearly up to date! Restart your device to finish updating.
Version 93.0.4577.107 (Official Build) (32-bit (Official Build) (32-bit)"
In the explain it notes:
"Important: This update will erase your Chromebook and reset it to factory settings. Everything will be deleted from your Chromebook, including your files, apps, and data. Make sure to back up your files and sync your account settings before you install this update."
Anyone installed this and had problems?
I found nothing googling the update number.
any problems updating chromebook OS Version 93.0.4577.107?
Re: any problems updating chromebook OS Version 93.0.4577.107?
I did not get that warning but I just installed the update on my Pixelbook. At the end it asked me if I wanted to restore my previous apps. I said yes and back in business in less than a minute.
