My city's setback requirements are such that only a louvered roof or pergola are possible in my backyard. Since I want it fully covered, I will likely be going with a louvered roof system. The big companies in this space include Equinox, Struxture, Apollo, and Solara. I've got quotes from most of the big companies and the Solara quote came in at 1/2 what the other companies are charging for (from what I can tell) is essentially the same thing.
Does anyone have any experience with louvered roofs? Any information on regrets and issues would be appreciated. Just as important: is there something that inherently makes the Solara system inferior to the others?
Thanks!

Re: Louvered Patio Roof Cover Question
I was researching these companies earlier this year. I put it aside for a while. You just reminded me of it. I will find my file and post anything that might help.
