Need to Upgrade 2014 Quickbooks? Any payoff?

Post by lillycat »

Ola friends!
I run a simple business that holds real estate notes and a few rental properties in 2 LLC’s.
My desktop Quickbooks is vintage.

I just write checks, keep up with deposits, post the interest and principal part of monthly note payments, etc.
I don’t download credit card statements or pay anything online.
My CPA’s login to the books at tax time to get what they need and make adjustments.

I have the files backed up to Dropbox for safety.
Was trying to navigate the Quickbooks site and it’s a bit confusing.
It looks like they really want me to rent (subscribe) to QB these days.

Does anyone have an idea of what the advantage might be of upgrading?
I was even having a hard time finding the desktop version to buy.
I called their support line but they were busy and I did not hold.

Thanks for any feedback!
