Oven with foot pedal or similar.

Post by shess »

So, I had an idea, but I'm finding that my search fu is not great. What I want is an oven with a foot pedal or hip-bump thing which lets me open/close it while carrying a hot item using mitts. Or I suppose it could use one of the voice assistants. Does such a thing exist?

And, more importantly, does it work as well in reality as in my imagination, or is it just a deep pit of despair where you can't get your oven open at all?

It sounds like a great convenience, but might such a thing pose safety and liability concerns, what with the potential for children, pets etc. opening hot oven doors?

Sometimes you have to think outside the box. Pizza ovens!

There's always the Camp Chef grill. It has a pizza oven module.
