"Hallelujah!" - Andrea Bocelli at an outdoor theater in Italy
The star tenor Andrea Bocelli has released a beautiful new duet with his eight-year-old daughter, Virginia Bocelli.
On the empty stage of the Teatro Regio di Parma, father and daughter sing Leonard Cohen's timeless "Hallelujah". Andrea on guitar and vocals, and Virginia on vocals and harmony.

^^^ Dylan’s version was all I knew until Electric Ladyland came out. And Jimi’s is the only version Bob plays now, he said so in the Biograph liner notes. I think it’s the most famous cover in rock history. Jimi was a huge Dylan fan.

Southern Comfort — self-titled (1969)
There were several bands with this name. This is the one with bassist Jerome Arnold (from The Paul Butterfield Blues Band), drummer Jessie Lewis (Otis Rush), guitarist Martin Stone (Savoy Brown), and blues harpist Walter Horton. As well as being an accomplished guitarist, the late Martin Stone was a noted rare book dealer.

Re: What are you listening to now
Listening to a really interesting mix of tunes featuring drummer Bernard Purdie, playing live today on Greasy Tracks, a weekly blues/soul show on WRTC FM (Trinity College) hosted by Chris Cowles.
Archived recording of the show and setlist available here: Greasy Tracks Oct. 9, 2021 (Program No. 1,293)
(I don't like all of these shows, but I'll probably play this one again...)
Edit to add:There are very few drummers who even come close to racking up the number of sessions that Bernard “Pretty” Purdie has done and the Oct. 9 edition of Greasy Tracks will spotlight just a fraction of what the legendary timekeeper has accomplished.
The program airs 2:30-5:30 p.m. Click here to listen live.
Dating to the late 1950s, Purdie — once known as “the house drummer of Atlantic Records” played on 25,000-plus sessions, has appeared on more than 4,000 albums and recorded with 2,500-plus different artists. He also has a deep catalog of solo releases.
Artists he has appeared with, running the gamut from jazz to rock, include Miles Davis, James Brown, Steely Dan, Ray Charles, Aretha Franklin, Louis Armstrong, Quincy Jones, Herbie Hancock, BB King, Joe Cocker, Bob Marley, Rahsaan Roland Kirk, Mongo Santamaria, Peter Frampton, Hall & Oats, Hank Crawford and Jimmy McGriff to name only a few.
Employing an innovative use of triplets against a half-time backbeat, Purdie developed an immensely distinct and impactful technique known universally as “the Purdie Shuffle”.

Pearl Jam Live Bootleg (authorized) Seattle 11/5/2000 on Amazon HD music
When I only heard their hit songs, I thought that the band was good, but the singer and the lyrics were just odd. After I bought one of the bootlegs from this tour I changed my mind. Eddie Vedder grew on me, although the lyrics sometimes don’t seem to jive with the music. But the band is hot! The Seattle show was the best selling of the bunch, 72 from this tour.
Now I find out that Pearl Jam has released to the public on streaming services 186 shows (done in May, 2021 but I missed it) and they have their own website with streaming (I have yet to explore it). Information here:
https://www.google.com/amp/s/variety.co ... 68641/amp/
I especially like their live covers: Last Kiss, Baba O’Reilly, Rockin in the Free World. Their collaborations with Neil Young are epic.
Edited to add Comfortably Numb at Fenway Park in 2016

Leo Sayer's "Just A Boy" album. I never knew his stuff beyond the hits, so thought I'd listen to an album. It's got his signature voice. The music is an interesting mix of upbeat and slightly sad/reflective. Worth the time.

Oh, my, she's good. The band is very fine, too. A great performance.
I was fortunate to see her twice in 2018, once with her band and once with her friend (and mentor?) Keith Little. The first time I saw her was with her band. I had absolutely no expectations, but was completely blown away by her guitar picking and nice voice. What a pleasant surprise! Her playing, singing and backing band were all brilliant. It was one of the best sets of a long festival.
Her performance in a duo with Keith Little just a few months later was rather flat by comparison. I got the distinct impression that Tuttle was purposely holding back the youthful energy I saw from her earlier that summer, in a show of deference to her (now maybe somewhat slower) elder, whom she obviously respected. (I could be reading too much into on-stage the cues I perceived, but it's also been my experience over the years that a whole lot of truth can get conveyed even at a distance through live performances.) She just seemed off her game.
Anyway, your post led me to find a nice solo set from just 4 weeks ago, complete with two Dead covers. (A deadhead! As if I needed another reason to like her...)
Here's a slow, bluesy, mournful Cold Rain and Snow.
And here's Molly Tuttle showing off a little of her picking chops on this cover: Molly Tuttle "Gentle On My Mind" 9/16/21 The Egg Albany, NY
(ambient sound, not fantastic, but not terrible)

A new album from Naxos called Piazolla: Works for Flute and Guitar, with Kazunon Seo and Vicente Coves, respectively. This has all been covered many times before, in fact I own an older CD from Naxos with much of the same material, but these performances are particularly good. Nice cover, too.

Let It Be (Super Deluxe) from the Beatles on Apple Music.
There's a new 2021 remix version of the album, and various outtakes and whatnot (which I imagine some have heard previously on bootlegs).
It also has a "Glyn Johns mix" of the album, meaning I guess yet another version without the infamous Spector "overproduction."
Can't say I was wowed by the new mixes but I did enjoy it overall. I'll have to give it a listen with headphones.

Handel: Water Music, performed by the English Concert Orchestra & Trevor Pinnock, perfect for Saturday morning listening. It was commissioned by King George I (grandfather of Geo.
