Any last minute shopping ideas for a spouse?
So far my wife has suggested she would enjoy:
*Nice luggage (Vera Bradley)
*something to do with crafting
*a robotic vacuum, she wasn't impressed with the robotic mop I showed her
*a painting class
I'm all ears

Plane tickets and hotel reservations for two at a nice getaway location so she can use the nice luggage you will give her.
The surest way to know the future is when it becomes the past.
Re: Any last minute shopping ideas for a spouse?
I would be careful about the Vera Bradley. I bought it for years, but the last year or so they changed the straps and interfacing. The interfacing at least in the products I bought (and returned) is now a hard plastic and in more places that the old interfacing. So it makes the straps uncomfortable, the small pockets difficult to get stuff into. It also deforms permanently in the strap according to numerous reviews.
They added a different type of strap as well, but it is kind of a thick grosgrain and doesn't go with the bags the way the old one of the same bag fabric used to.
This is disappointing, and I was about to post asking if people had found substitutes. I am not a fan of their wilder patterns, but the washable comfy quilted bags were otherwise very nice.
I would vote for the painting class.

Re: Any last minute shopping ideas for a spouse?
My wife has been into crafting a lot the last couple years, so here are a couple ideas:
1. She asked for a Silhouette Cameo a couple years ago. She uses this daily, so probably the best $200 I've spent on her.
2. This year she's been doing more woodwork and staining, so I picked up one of these: https://www.amazon.com/Pegasus-Multi-Fu ... rx+pegasus and a nice stool to go with it.

Bought the wife the Cricut (similar to Silhouette) vinyl cutter/crafting machine. She's already making money using it selling monogrammed items to her friends. Win Win!

I just bought the Large Weekender and have no such problem. I love that it's designed to attach to the handle of rolling luggage. It comes with a free makeup bag right now.mouses wrote: ↑Wed Dec 20, 2017 7:45 am I would be careful about the Vera Bradley. It may just be the VB Crossbody bags that have the problem. I see that the Large Weekender has a different type of, shorter, strap.

We generally just gift ourselves one larger expense item for the both of us. This year it is an elliptical trainer. Other years have been furniture pieces or trips to somewhere. One year we took painting classes and loved it.

"last minute"??? You still have 5 days, it's not even close to last minute yet.
Based on your phone number...what about Steelers' playoff tickets?

Glassybaby. $50 a pop for hand blown, colored glass votive candle holders. Or really anything you want to put in them. Lots of colors. Buy as many as appropriate. If your wife likes them you have one of your gifts handled for years.

If she likes to cook, then a cooking class with a professional chef.
Or wine tasting event with the local vintner.
