At some brokerages I do not see anything to check for it being in kind?

Call your brokerage and ask them. Generic answers won’t help you.

Cheers.

Many people on here do transfers all the time. I thought I ask them. It's a common thing. I am talking about the big guys Vanguard, Fidelity, and Schwab.

Vanguard, Fidelity and Schwab all do in kind transfers where possible if requested. If you don't hold anything wonky, everything will transfer.

Major brokerages allow transfers in kind. But that's mostly irrelevant as it really depends on what you are trying to transfer. Big brokerages want to retain you by selling you securities that specifically cannot be moved elsewhere.
