Sludge versus Nudge

Richard Thaler's and Cass Sunstein's book Nudge has been updated and revised. Here's an article on that which mentions "Sludge." When you read this, you will instantly know what this is.

"Nudge" was the book that really got me interested in behavioral economics. The tax system is the epitome of "sludge", which is why Intuit spends countless millions per year on lobbying.
