Vanguard Tot US Bonds Forecast?

Post by fortfun »

What is a reasonable expectation of Vanguard Tot US Bonds for the next three years? Would I be better off using an account that generates 1%?
Thanks!

1.3% per year; that is the SEC yield right now. Does the account guarantee 1% over the next three years?

Will you need the money in three years? If so, then just stay in that account and save the risk taken (as the bond fund has more duration than the timeframe). If not, then it is hard to say what is correct.
