Selling VTSAX after close. Today's price or tomorrow's?
If I sell now, 3pm (mtn) do I get today's close or tomorrow's?

Mutual funds are always sold, or bought, at the market's closing price. Since you're putting the transaction in AFTER the market closed, you get the next day's closing price. If you put the transaction in at 3PM MTN on Friday, you'd get Monday's closing price. If Monday was a holiday, you'd get Tuesday's closing price.

Thanks Stinky! Looks like today is turning out to be a good day to sell. Using this money to pay off the mortgage, to improve cash flow in retirement, and instead of buying bonds at the moment.
