Hi all, this is my first year for RMDs.
I have a 457(b) and T-IRA. I understand I must take RMDs from each, as opposed to taking the total RMD from TIRA, which would be my preference.
I’d prefer to let the RMD from the 457 ride until the end of the year.
My question: can I take the RMD from the TIRA and proceed to do a Roth conversion before taking the RMD from the 457? Or, must I do all RMDs before any Roth conversion?
Thanks.

Re: Must All RMDs be Satisfied before any Roth Conversions?
Since the RMDs required for the IRA and 457(b) can only be satisfied distinctly and separately, once you have completed your IRA RMD you can proceed with a Roth Conversion in the IRA without regard to the timing of your 457(b) RMD.
