I'll sure miss threads like;

"Why international again"

"Going 100% US Equities"

...but not really

Does anybody really know what is and what isn't "actionable?" If stocks soar and a person heads to Vegas to gamble their gains (or stocks tank and they go to the roof of a high building....), aren't the investors in both cases taking action based upon what is reported in the thread? :twisted:

I wish they would have tanked on the 4th. Our target date funds that got their Roth IRA contributions for the year weren't down nearly as much as our VTSAX taxable account :annoyed

I stand by my 2021 prediction that VXUS will outperform VTI.

Today was a good day for me - I am 50% of stocks in International and an EM tilt within Intl.

Pretty sure, I have a heavy value tilt and a heavy international allocation. And the other 10% is mostly US small value. I don't own any US large cap except for some energy companies.

Has it just been me or have the exUS funds been having bigger up days than the US funds.

Nice to finally see that part of my portfolio do a bit of the heavy lifting. They still have a long way to go before they catch up though.

That's par for the course when they've outperformed over a sustained period in the past. They are typically up bigger on the up days and usually down more on the down days, but the outperformance on the up days more than offsets the underperformance on the down days.

BlackRock is overweight Emerging Markets on a six to 12-month tactical view, so you're in good company. Let's check back in July to see how things stand.

Another way to look at it is that it's now at a level it first hit in 1999.

My spreadsheet calculations of 1/CAPE for various Vanguard UK ETFs have VUKE yielding 7.1% compared to VUSA yielding 3.0%.
