I have 1000 shares of RSUs from an old company left with Ing. This is the only investment I have with them and I am not planning on adding anything else. The account has an $80 yearly service fee that the dividends are covering but it is still money out of pocket. I’d like to transfer these shares to Fidelity which is my active use brokerage.
What do I need to do and what should I expect trying to do this transfer?

Re: Transferring RSUs: Ing to Fidelity
Submit the transfer request at Fidelity. Fidelity will take care of the transfer; you don't even need to contact Ing.
Fidelity does not any charge fee for the transfer but Ing may charge you an account transfer-out fee. This is typically $50 to $75 at many brokerages.

If they're from an old company, they are no longer RSUs. They've vested and are regular shares of stock. Transfer them between custodians as you would any other holding.

I started the transfer today. Thanks for the help/push.
