When we go out to eat it's typically mid range, non-chain type restaurants. It runs us about 40-60 all in with no alcohol (2 people). Long story short: you should have filed the claim against his insurance... I have just completed this exercise myself, his insurer paid for my totaled car, my medical bills including deductibles and other incidentals.
