Vanguard doesn’t let you log on from outside the US. I’m surprised you were able to sign in for the first few times. After reading your post, I went on Vg from overseas and it took less than 10 seconds (no buffering whatsoever). Everything worked fine, except for the bad news that my 2021 RMD is more than my 2020 RMD (which I took anyway).

Anthem is really far north. If you want to stay closer to metro, you can live in the east valley: Tempe, Chandler, Gilbert, and Mesa. I'd give Mesa a pass though.
