MyQ (wifi) is a really nice feature. I have mine programmed to automatically close either door if it is open past 1:00 p.m. Very nice when someone forgets to close a door.

Also a big fan of Ridgid battery operated tools with the lifetime battery warranty. I just replaced the batteries in my drill for the 3rd time. Ridgid probably hates people like me. Be sure to read and follow EVERYTHING needed to keep the warranty valid.

I bought a couple of Chamberlain B970's about a year and a half ago. Aside from the expected (work well, quiet) I LOVE the motion sensor lights. It's nice to have the lights come on automatically when you've got your arms full and not seem them still on the next morning !

I'd be willing to be there will be times when you will need/want to roll the car out and use the other 1/2 of the garage. Now you've got a small cliff to negotiate every time you move from one side to the other plus moving machines on wheels will be difficult/impossible.

I've used Delta on a couple of projects and was quite pleased. Their "lifetime" warranty worked out well. The cartridge on our shower failed and they sent a new one no questions asked. Their phone support is also good if you run into problems.

Thanks everyone for your feedback. DoThe Math, I just checked my upload speed and it's 2.36 MBS. Is that enough bandwidth for decent VOIP calls? We have 5 handsets for the Panasonic system so I'm numbering each to see if one of them is the culprit.

You mentioned having high ceilings. Heat rises. I'd be willing to be a lot of your heat is up there. If you have a ceiling fan(s) they usually have a reverse switch on them and will push air down from the ceiling rather than pull it up.

To minimize static electricity from grinding I dip the handle of a spoon in water and stir the beans sitting in the grinder hopper with it for about 5-8 seconds. Depending on how low the humidity is this will almost completely eliminate "static cling".

That's an interesting note about White Lily flour. I didn't realize that it is made from soft wheat. Living in the south, this product is a staple on grocery store shelves except when out of stock like so my other items that are in high demand due to Covid.
