I have one for my business, it is a big beast that runs on natural gas. It will run EVERYTHING as if we never lost power from our primary source.

I think they are overkill for most homes. They do require regular maintenance to keep them running and ready when needed.

I don’t even have a debit card for that very reason. With a debit card, the money is gone from your account and you have to fight to get it back. I don’t have a ATM card either.

Take the insurance payout and touchup the paint / replace the tail light yourself.

I really don’t think the insurance company cares whether or not you repair the vehicle, and you certainly would not being doing anything shady by taking the payout and not repairing the vehicle.

That money can not buy you more time, so why are you spending your time doing something you do not enjoy.

I am similarly burnt out and will likely walk away with 1/4th of your assets, hopefully at around 55 yrs old. If I had 11 million I would walk away immediately at any age over 40!

When your assets cover your needs for estate planning.

I have reached that milestone but continue to pay for a term policy because it is cheap, and it keeps me alive. As soon as I cancel the policy, I am a goner for sure!

Modern toilets use less water & flush better! I installed an American Standard Champion toilet in both of my bathrooms. The plunger is in the garage somewhere because I no longer need one.

If you want serious high performance get one with a pressurized tank, they really send it!
