The fact that it's a large volume, I would be concerned about theft. Perhaps take the stuff that is of no interest, stuff it in a box and send it off to midwest. You end up with cash, less risk and an easier volume to deal with. You certainly can do this multiple times.

I have a much better idea. Go to DCU and get a second chance car loan on your current car. You get the cash to do what you want and don't pay the lease acquisition fee, dealer doc fee, lease turn in fee and high interest. DCU's second chance car loan is at the exact same rate as a new car loan.

I've owned many cars with a proper manual transmission, including my current Subaru Crosstrek. I live near Boston and have contended with traffic quite often. I've never found it to be any problem myself. Perhaps you live somewhere with worse traffic like maybe DC or LA or Manhattan.
