VTI = VTSAX however i prefer VTI.

Claim brokerage bonus and deposit in VTI so that you can transfer if needed to another brokerage.
Dont activate the dividend reinvest option instead you do it.

For me, they have charged me 6.52 dollars tip waiting for 1 month for my approval and not posted.
when i tried to place second order then it picked up. for a moment , i felt its a double charged
Later realized its a charged so late which is tip of previous order.

stick with HDHP for one more year and see if the expenses are recurring,
if recurring then change plan

when changing plan, HSA need not to be closed. you can keep it open or move to fidelity HSA for no fees
