I think you're confusing TIPS with Ibonds.
Yes, I was confused. I did own VTIP for a while, but sold it when I simplified to three funds. I believe my BND ETF includes TIPs to some degree, but don't really know how much.

I don't know the details of your pension, but I bought back three years which allowed me to retire 1.5 years earlier while increasing my pension payment by 7%. Great deal for me.

I used a realtor when buying a new home, but there may not be much benefit added. However...

Get a home inspection! Don't assume that everything works just because it is a new home. A good inspector may find deficiencies that you cannot.

USAA annuity calculator shows cost of $150k to $160k for a NON-COLA lifetime annuity with no beneficiary for a male born 1/1/1980. The variance is due to the state selected. Health is not an input.

They can deliver the car to you when the check clears. I had a dealer deliver a new car to me 2.5 hours away in a different state.

(Assuming you have a way to get home).
