Hey Norton!

Got DV from Geico back in 2018

They have a agent who only handles DV

Sent a demand letter to agent...google how to write a demand letter

Had car dealer write letter comparing before and after prices. NADA has pricing for older rides.

Agent came out to the house and made a offer and the back n forth began.

Was used 2016 that we bought in 2018. So a little different then your situation. But it will be worth some less so I would work on it....

Hey RR When did you hire out? What is your craft? Tier1 (Social Security equivalent) and Tier2 (Railroad pension) can't be separated. Down load your Railroad Retirement Handbook and study it in the siding. Your RRB field office employees know what they are talking about u need to know what to ask. When I retired in 2009 it was, If u hired out before 2002 it's 30yrs service and 60yrs old for full retirement. After 2002 u have be 62yrs old for full retirement. I see no advantage to working pass full retirement age if u use the 401k and start a Roth on your own. The RRB bridges medicare from full retirement till 65. You could apply for management position down the road and basically have a pension and a half. The Union crafts are better in my ...
