I don't have the answer to your main question but the lever is called a sash stay and uses tension against the outer window frame to keep the window in place.

Is the data being imported correctly? Why the concern over which browser HRB uses? Since PC's come standard with IE, I imagine that is why it is automatically chosen for the time being. Internet Explorer is supported until August of this year. I suspect next year HRB will probably be using Edge.

Edited to add from 2015 Honda Fit online manual:
Use only Honda genuine 0W20 engine oil. If the service indicator does not come on within the year, change your oil every 12 months.
