You’re probably doing just fine. If you weren’t, they’d put you on some sort of documented improvement plan This could be imposter syndrome. Or you could be overly sensitive. But here’s my guess. Companies just don’t train employees anymore, and they don’t really document how they do things, and wha...

Re: Crazy Situation - Acura Dealer Gave Me Car With Wrong VIN Number - Wants to Swap Cars?
So... forgive my ignorance as a city slicker who doesn't own a car, but if these are otherwise identical vehicles (and therefore thus value for the books), why is it easier to swap cars than it is to update an entry in a database? Here is my guess. The car the dealer currently possesses has already...

The kinds of things that people mention in a Eulogy are not things the subject gets to say, only his loved ones do. In the end that’s all we got, what our loved ones thought o...

You should determine what your actual market value is. The best, most accurate way to do this is to interview for new jobs and see what offers you get. It takes time, but if you’re underpaid, it’s easy money. Once you actually know this, then things get easy. Just tell your boss you like your job an...

For MFJ capital gains are not taxed up to 80K. Then the next 24K are the standard deduction. So if you live off your investments, you can have 104K non-taxable income. And that's in addition to the cost-basis of your proceeds, which are not subject to taxation. This is it right here. And it’s my pl...

That all seems reasonable. Probably just showing by appointment only will achieve your goal. (Keeping out the looks-loos and nosed neighbors). For me, I only did it because of the 90 day return policy if you buy it directly from them.
And that’s because, as far as I can tell, there is no good way to evaluate a bed without sleeping on it for two weeks or so....
