This should be in the "Frugal Things You Do" thread. Trying to repair a crack in a toilet tank is insane when you consider the potential water damage of it breaking when you're not at home. Just do what you need to do here. Buy a new toilet.

I got a Greenworks electric lawn mower for $30. It was mint condition, looked unused, and sells for $200 on Amazon.

I find the best deals are from well to do people that are selling nice stuff, but just want the stuff gone quickly. I’ve scored some good deals over the years.
