The numbers are fine .. although the comparison of $100K income to $200K house would be inaccurate since you pay far more taxes -- maybe more like $70K income to $200K with that factored in. I'd be more worried about the neighborhood and kids not getting the wrong lessons (keeping up with the Jones)...
