We get our second vaccine next Friday, and plan to drive to Maryland to visit family in early May.
No flights this year. We might hit a couple nearby beaches and/or golf resorts in the fall if everything goes well.

Luckiest Man by Jonathan Eig is a great book about Lou Gehrig.

I’d appreciate any biography recommendations on Babe Ruth and Teddy Roosevelt.

I like national parks and my wife likes nice big-city hotels. We make it work by trying to do both in the same trip Miami + Everglades Las Vegas + Grand Canyon Boston + Acadia I got a pass on big cities for our trip to Yellowstone and Glacier NP. Next on the list is Yosemite and San Francisco.

The ponds here in North Florida are full of wintering wading birds.
Today I saw several Wood Storks and Great Egrets in a small neighborhood pond.
Another golf course pond had over 50 Great Egrets.

I estimate our expenses are ~30% lower than expected due to Covid avoidance.
Good to know we can cut back in tough times.

On the other hand, I can’t wait to spend the money to take a vacation, eat inside a nice restaurant, fly in airplane...

It periodically hangs and requires a reboot.
I’ll probably get an M1 Air or MBP next year.
