Cable is horrible... They have a vested interest in jamming in more channels rather than higher resolution. Streaming is the answer but some amplifiers can upscale to 4K... which help me on cable stuff.

I'd also do the cheaper when the gap is that large... Think of the portfolio across all accounts (for the same goal)... each acct does not need to mirror your plan.

I wish the zealousness of the target funds was a little less here.... They are great for some uses but IMO bad option for taxable as your working out. It's not going to get any cheaper in the future, so I would do it earlier.

It might make sense to consider Vanguard Small Cap Index fund that captures both value and growth. That way, you're always capturing the better performing half which make help you psychologically. I used a particular microcap fund for 20 something years before I just got sick of the whole damn topic in a taxable acct. I still believe that there is something there but no USABLE fund exists
